Responsabilities:

  1. Manage kitchen operations.
  2. Cook the daily menu for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack, with a health-oriented cooking style.
  3. Prepare everything from scratch as much as possible to avoid waste.
  4. Organize kitchen equipment and ingredients.
  5. Implement food rotation and ensure it is clearly dated and organized to allow for quality control.
  6. Ensure the supply of each preparation station, especially before and during peak periods.
  7. Participate and fulfill ingredient orders.
  8. Order food, beverages and supplies as well as maintain the inventory of these products.
  9. Ensure that food storage units meet hygiene standards and are well maintained.
  10. Create the menu of the week and make sure to send it on time to the office manager.
  11. Coordinate with the Office Manager regarding supply orders, budget, kitchen efficiency and staffing.
  12. Prepare food, and make sure to serve all employees during the hours dedicated to breakfast and dinner.
  13. Prepare meals for Quadbridge events.
  14. Be always present to serve during events organized by the company.
  15. Take charge of washing dishes and kitchen equipment.

16. Participate in the maintenance of dining room furniture.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a cook in a business environment – minimum of 2 years;
  • MAPAQ certification in food hygiene and safety or equivalent;
  • Diploma of vocational studies in professional cooking or other relevant experience;
  • Bilingualism (verbal communication) – English and French;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Sense of customer service;
  • Creativity and ability to multi-task;
  • Ability to work efficiently and neatly;
  • Ability to work under pressure and to serve in case of last minute.
