Job Description

 

A specialist resource whose role is to translate customer software requirements into licensing solutions, the candidate will support Sales Representatives and is responsible for all facets of software acquisition lifecycle.  The candidate must be articulate, demonstrating concise and effective communication skills to accelerate Microsoft sales opportunities and increase the likelihood of sales success. They must also have an understanding of both the customer's business and competitive landscape, and able to deliver effective strategic presentations and technical demonstrations, effectively communicating the business and technical advantages of the Microsoft core products and solutions to both Sales Representatives and Customers’ technical and business decision makers.

The Technical Pre-Sales Specialist should have a significant pre-sales support experience, and have competent industry, technical and business expertise to solve customer productivity challenges. Can map core opportunities, transfer important solution knowledge, and be relied upon to deliver compelling educational presentations that promote the business value of Microsoft products internally and externally.

Success in the role includes growing the licensing annuity business, closing deals within guidance, and increasing customer satisfaction. This success is measured by meeting or exceeding sales objectives such as: revenue, on time agreement renewals, up sell/cross sell. Success also depends upon efficiency and effectiveness in the contracting process and mastering the operational complexities required to get deals billed.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Partnering with internal & external resources to grow the Microsoft productivity portfolio, including surface hardware
  • Driving Growth & Activation of  Microsoft Teams.
  • Driving Growth & Activation premium subscriptions.
  • Supporting the demand generation strategy and sales activations campaigns.
  • Providing Pre-Sales Support to Sales & Customers on Microsoft Modern Workplace Solutions
  • Identifying new market opportunities
  • Developing & Delivering training to Quadbridge sales teams on Microsoft O365 and Surface hardware.
  • Engaging with Quadbridge sales teams and sell jointly into customer accounts across all sales territories
  • Ongoing personal development through certificate, training and general curiosity to stay ahead of the curve.

 

Profile

 

  • 3+ years of experience as a Presales Specialist Microsoft Solutions;
  • University Degree – Engineering, Business, Computer Science.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft products such as Microsoft 365
  • Strong technical knowledge of MS Cloud Azure; (Nice to have)
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and ITSM (strong assets)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Microsoft O365 certifications – MS100 completion
  • Strong communication and presentation skills;
  • Bilingual – English and French
